国际摄影爱好者协会入会细则

一、入会原则

国际摄影爱好者协会(以下简称“协会”)欢迎所有热爱摄影的个人加入协会,包括业余摄影爱好者及热爱摄影的摄影从业人员。会员须提交真实信息申请入会,遵守入会细则及会员守则。

二、会员级别

  • 级别区分:为了鼓励会员学习成长,也为方便不同层次的摄影爱好者交流学习,协会的会员按照不同程度的知识水平、作品层次和摄影成就,分为“会员”、“高级会员”和“资深会员”三种类型。
  • 审批:三种会员的入会条件各不相同,个人申请入会时,应挑选其中一种和自身情况相匹配的会员级别提交入会申请。
  • 晋级:成为协会会员后,会员可根据自身的条件的发展变化,提交新的资料,申请晋级至更高级别的会员资格。
  • 有效期限:会员、高级会员和资深会员的有效期限均为一年,从通过审批入会之日算起,期满后须申请续订会员资格。

三、入会条件

(一)会员:

申请会员资格,须具备以下条件之一:

  1. 热爱生活,热爱摄影艺术;
  2. 希望通过摄影更好、更多的记录生活;
  3. 希望结交更多热爱摄影的朋友,共同交流进步;
  4. 希望学习更多的摄影知识,希望得到摄影专家的指导。

(二)高级会员:

申请高级会员资格,须具备以下条件:

  1. 已成为国际摄影爱好者协会会员;
  2. 曾参加过任何一次国际摄影爱好者协会主办的摄影集训营活动。

高级会员不接受直接申请,凡符合以上要求的会员,将自动升级成为高级会员。

(三)资深会员:

申请资深会员资格,须具备以下条件之一:

  1. 有一幅(组)作品在市级以上影展、影赛中入选或获奖;
  2. 有三幅(组)作品在专业摄影报刊发表;
  3. 热衷于摄影组织工作,从事一定创作或研究活动,并取得有一定成绩;
  4. 举办过个人摄影作品展。
  5. 出版专著;
  6. 其他对摄影教育、理论研究有一定贡献者。

四、入会渠道及申报材料

(一)填写网络申请表:

通过协会官方网站填写网络申请表,并将相关证明材料发至邮箱:hi@ipea.hk。申请各级别会员所需材料分别为:

  1. 会员:完整填写网络申请表所要求信息的即可;
  2. 资深会员:完整填写网络申请表所要求信息,并提交摄影作品五幅,提交相关入选、获奖、发表、工作之证明材料扫描件。

(二)填写纸质申请表:

通过协会官方网站填写网络申请表,并将相关证明材料邮寄至协会办公地址或发送至邮箱:hi@ipea.hk。申请各级别会员所需材料分别为:

  1. 会员:完整填写纸质申请表所要求的即可;
  2. 资深会员:完整填写网络申请表所要求信息,并提交摄影作品五幅,提交相关入选、获奖、发表、工作之证明材料扫描或复印件。

五、审批办法:

  1. 协会将在每周五审批会员,如有需要,将按实际情况增加审批次数。
  2. 协会将根据个人所提交的证明资料决定是否授予相应的会员级别,如协会认为申请材料暂时无法到达该较高的会员级别的要求时,将在一周内通知申请者提交补充材料,如申请人提供补充材料后仍未符合要求,或在一个月内未提交补充材料,协会将授予协会认为的相匹配的级别的会员资格。
  3. 申请人经批准后即成为国际摄影协会会员,如在申请时勾选了“实物会员证”的,协会将在3个工作日内通过短信、电子邮件的形式下发会员编号;如勾选了“实物会员证”并已交纳会员证工本费,协会将在10个工作日内寄发会员证;会员编号或会员证请妥善保管。

ASSOCIATION ENTRY RULES

Membership Criteria

International Photography Enthusiasts Association (henceforth referred to as the “Association”) welcomes all those who love photography. We welcome hobbyists, amateur as well as professional photographers who make a career out of photography. You can apply for membership by submitting required accurate information and comply with the membership rules and the code of ethics.

Membership Levels

  • LEVELS: In order to encourage members to learn and advance by sharing their knowledge with other members, we classify them into 3 different levels such as “Member”, “Senior Member” and “Professional” because everybody has different levels of expertise, work hierarchy and/or significant achievements in the photography field.
  • MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL: Before applying, you should decide the membership level according to your knowledge of photography and then submit a completed application. The application will be assessed and the applicant notified thereafter.
  •   MEMBERSHIP PROMOTION: to become eligible for promotion to a higher level within the    association, a new application with relevant details must be submitted for assessment and approval.

Membership Level Requirements

(A) Member:

To apply for membership, you must have one of the following criteria:

  1. Love life and the art of photography;
  2. Through the art of photography, record the memorable moments of your life
  3. Hope to make more friends who love photography, and share knowledge and experience
  4. Learn more about photography and and/or require expert guidance.

(B) Senior Member:

To apply for senior membership, you must have one of the following criteria:

  1. Have the ability to create exceptional photography;
  2. Photography professionals with less than 5 years of experience;
  3. If you have at least 1 photography work that was nominated or won at a Film and/or Photography competition at the city level and above.
  4. If you have at least 1 photography work that was published in a professional photography magazine. These works must be original and created by you.
  5. Keen interest in photography organizations engaged in creative photography and/or research activities along-with some significant achievements in the field.
  6. Held personal photography exhibition/s.

(C) Professional Member:

To apply for membership, you must have one of the following criteria:

  1. Photography professionals with more than 5 years of experience
  2. Engaged in photography teaching work, have at least basic photography certification
  3. You must have at least 1 photography work that was nominated at a Film and/or Photography competition at the provincial level and above OR won at a city level competition.
  4. If you have at least 3 photography works that were published in a professional photography magazine/s. These works must be original and created by you
  5. Published at least 3 photography articles or thesis in magazines which have been licensed by General Administration of Press and Publication of The People’s Republic of China
  6. Published your own original book related to photography
  7. Other photography education, theoretical research contributions

APPLICATION PROCEDURE FOR MEMBERSHIP

Fill in the membership application form online OR download and print a copy from our website.

Fill in the electronic application form and send the required documents to: hi@ipea.hk

Fill in the paper application form and send it to our office address with the required documents OR scan and send it to hi@ipea.hk

List of required documents for different membership levels:

  1. Member: Completed application form
  2. Professional Member: Completed application form, submit 5 of your original photography works and a scanned copy of the competition certificate (As mentioned in the membership criteria above)

MEMBERSHIP APPROVAL

  1. Every Friday, the Association will work on membership approvals based on the information on the form and the submitted documents. If required, approvals on Fridays may be increased as per the situation.
  2. Association will decide whether or not to grant the appropriate membership level based on the information on the membership form and supporting documents submitted by the individual. If an applicant does not qualify for the level applied for, he/she will be notified and additional supporting documents will be required within one week. If the supporting documents still do not qualify OR the applicant fails to submit the required documents within one month, the Association reserves the right to assign the applicant to a level that is deemed suitable for him/her.
  3. Once the membership is approved, the applicant will become member of the International Photography Enthusiasts Association (IPEA). The Association will send a unique membership number to the applicant within 3 working days by SMS or Email. A physical membership card can be issued after paying an optional fee and members will receive the card within 10 working days.
